Scholarship Programs
The Dallas Foundation has a growing number of scholarship funds, each with a different purpose and eligibility requirements. For example, one scholarship might be restricted to graduating seniors from a particular high school, while another might be devoted to students in a specified major.
If you think you might be interested in setting up a scholarship fund, the Foundation
can provide complete turnkey service -- including drafting scholarship criteria,
publicizing scholarships, and evaluating candidates. For more information, contact
Victor A. Korelstein at vkorelstein@dallasfoundation.org or (214) 741-9898 Ext.
112.
If you are a student interested in applying for one of the Foundation's scholarships,
we encourage you to first review carefully each scholarship description in the section
entitled Scholarship Fund Profiles to see if you might be eligible. If you have
a question about your eligibility, please call or write the contact person listed
in the "How to apply" section of each profile. Application forms for some funds
are available to download from the fund's profile on this site.
For more help in finding scholarships, please see the Scholarship Links section.
One word of caution: If you are thinking of paying any scholarship search service
to help you find financial aid, be sure to understand what you are buying and ensure
that it will be specific enough for you to know if you qualify. We receive many
scholarship inquiries from students who obtained our name through scholarship search
services that do not provide the student with enough detail to properly determine
eligibility.
